Description

Lead the development and maintenance of entity-based microservices architecture for internal business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices using Java 1.8+ features.
• Build REST APIs to expose endpoints for internal business needs.
• Implement test suites using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber to ensure code quality.
• Deploy code into AWS and OpenShift platforms using CI/CD methodologies.
• Participate in code reviews, software configuration, and release tasks within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for building microservices.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and distributed systems.
• Experience with testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
• Exposure to AWS and OpenShift platforms.
• Knowledge of logging frameworks and application monitoring.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with bi-weekly sprints.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with entity-based microservices architecture.
