Description

Lead the design, development, and architecture of enterprise-scale applications while mentoring engineers and enforcing engineering standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Lead technical design discussions, evaluate architectural choices, and align solutions with the long-term technical roadmap.
• Own engineering best practices, conduct in-depth PR reviews, and enforce coding standards to ensure code quality and security.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conduct technical workshops, and guide the team through complex development challenges.
• Drive strategy for CVE remediation, security hardening, performance tuning, and non-functional requirements including disaster recovery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total software engineering experience with 3–4 years in a technical leadership role.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud architecture and microservices patterns.
• Experience with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and fault tolerance.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications (Solution Architect, Developer, or DevOps).
• Experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies including React JS, Node.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
