Lead technical execution and delivery of secure, high-quality software systems.

Responsibilities

• Write secure code across multiple languages including C, C#, Java, and COBOL.
• Perform deep debugging and troubleshooting of core, heap, and thread dumps to resolve coding errors.
• Implement secure communication and authentication using cryptography techniques and libraries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate requirements via story pointing and prioritize based on business value.
• Orchestrate release workflows and automate infrastructure and deployment using CI/CD and IaC tools.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka.
• Ability to write secure code in three or more languages (C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, COBOL, or SQL).
• Deep understanding of secure coding standards such as OWASP, CWE, and SEI CERT.
• Expertise in cryptography and authentication protocols including OAuth 1.0a, SAML, GnüTLS, OpenSSL, PKCS#11, and JWT/JWS/JWE.
• Experience with DevOps tooling such as Chef, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Practical knowledge of Gitflow branching and TDD/BDD methodologies.
• Application of advanced design patterns including MVC, API gateway, and dependency injection.
• Ability to analyze and optimize delivery metrics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with COBOL legacy system integration.
