Description

You will lead the technical design, implementation, and testing of core brokerage initiatives within the Middle Office Core Platform Organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical aspects of complex server-side applications, including new feature development and existing code improvements.
• Drive product development by gathering requirements and defining technical solutions.
• Design and ship products using robust CI/CD architectures and design patterns.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for Sybase or Oracle relational databases.
• Develop UNIX-based shell scripts (Perl, KSH) and manage service mesh and container deployments.

Required Skills

• 7-10+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Golang or Java/J2EE, with solid experience in either.
• Knowledge of Python, C++, JavaScript, and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks.
• Expert understanding of OOD, SOA principles, and data structures.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, IDL, gRPC, and API design for extensibility.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX environments, Perl, and KSH shell scripts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud technologies, service mesh, and containers.
• Working knowledge of SCRUM, Agile, and iterative development approaches.
