Description

Lead the embedded platform team, owning architecture, delivery, and technical growth for Linux and RTOS-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of embedded platform software components.
• Develop platform infrastructure including bootloaders, device drivers, board bring-up, and OS abstraction layers.
• Mentor engineers on design, code quality, and debugging best practices while hiring and scaling the team.
• Establish planning, tracking, and quality assurance mechanisms for predictable software releases.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, version control, and code review standards.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of total experience with deep expertise in BSP (Board Support Package) development.
• Strong C programming skills for embedded systems and Linux kernel/system-level programming.
• Proven experience with RTOS design, implementation, and debugging.
• Hands-on execution capability in system design, coding, and debugging of complex embedded systems.
• Experience collaborating with hardware, firmware, and optics teams for hardware-software integration.
• Background in establishing delivery governance and technical leadership.

Preferred Skills

• C++ programming for embedded and system software.
• Proficiency with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, CAN) and Python scripting for automation.
• Experience with GitHub or Git-based version control workflows.
