Description

Lead engineering teams to deliver complex software-intensive systems across the full development lifecycle.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor developer teams through architecture, development, and fielded system support.
• Implement and manage DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies within the software workflow.
• Oversee software baseline management, configuration management, and support for Software Configuration Control Boards.
• Define and collect team and program-level metrics to monitor scope, schedule, and quality.
• Partner across technology disciplines to deliver architectures and develop reusable enterprise patterns.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and development.
• 5+ years of experience managing teams of software engineers.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and containers.
• Proven experience with Agile and DevSecOps practices.
• Working knowledge of government-cloud environments and the RMF process for Authorizing Agencies.
• Understanding of the DoD acquisition process and the role of government in software management.
• Ability to communicate technical progress and risks to stakeholders ranging from engineering teams to high-ranking government leaders.
• Experience integrating software enhancements into a single baseline version.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or Mathematics.
