Description

Lead engineering teams in designing, building, and maintaining distributed software systems while mentoring engineers and owning the full development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to define system requirements and strategy.
• Own the full software development lifecycle for assigned applications, focusing on new features.
• Design, implement, test, and deploy software to improve performance, durability, cost, and security.
• Mentor, coach, and teach engineers to advance their technical skills and professional responsibilities.
• Apply engineering best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables within an agile environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing and leading engineering teams.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, distributed software applications and services.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience developing software services with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Strong understanding of professional software engineering practices throughout the SDLC.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
