Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor software engineers, driving performance, engagement, and career growth.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and team capacity planning.
• Ensure timely delivery of software projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Guide teams in implementing best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
• Review system designs and code to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Drive adoption of AWS cloud services and DevOps practices across projects.
• Implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding standards, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks.
• Provide regular project status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to leadership.

Skills Required:

• 10+ years of experience in software development with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical expertise in Core Java and modern programming practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services for hosting and deployment (mandatory).
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of secure coding standards and compliance requirements.
• Proven people management skills, including mentoring, performance management, and hiring.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• AWS certification or relevant cloud certifications preferred
