Description

Lead a software engineering team while maintaining hands-on technical leadership in Java and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and hire software engineers to drive performance and career growth.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Guide teams in implementing coding best practices, testing, and secure coding standards.
• Drive adoption of AWS cloud services, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to align technical solutions with business goals.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in Core Java and modern programming practices.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with AWS cloud services for hosting and deployment.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab CI).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven people management skills, including mentoring and performance reviews.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certification or relevant cloud certifications.
• Experience ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and quality benchmarks.
