Description

You will manage and architect embedded software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable embedded software, including board support packages for the application layer.
• Develop embedded systems software for sensor reading (voltage, current, temperature, etc.) and actuator control in safety-critical systems.
• Develop standard communication interfaces for inter-board and outbound system communication.
• Implement modular algorithms for battery State of Health and State of Charge.
• Drive the standardization of EaglePicher’s software development process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a software development environment with managerial experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience architecting scalable embedded software.
• Experience developing safety-critical systems software.
• Ability to document software requirements and design in compliance with product standards.
• Proficiency in producing integration and unit testing for source code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a safety regulated industry (e.g., DO-178C).
