Software Engineering Manager

Lead engineering teams to deliver software-intensive systems while managing technical integrity, budgets, and cross-organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop high-performing, self-organizing agile development teams.
• Manage project outcomes including budget, schedule, resources, quality, and risk management.
• Ensure software products comply with security, privacy, audit, and FINRA standards.
• Partner with product managers and architects to align implementation with organizational strategy.
• Oversee vendor commitments to ensure delivered services meet business and compliance needs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of related work experience in software engineering.
• 5+ years of experience managing technology teams and projects.
• Experience managing a minimum of 8 resources and budgets of at least $1.5 million.
• 5+ years of progressive responsibility building and delivering software-intensive systems.
• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP Cloud environments.
• Expertise in agile software development and iterative delivery.
• Strong skills in project planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
