Description

Lead cloud migration strategies for on-premises ASP.NET applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute cloud migration roadmaps in collaboration with Cloud COE and engineering leadership.
• Define technical standards, design patterns, and frameworks for the development team.
• Participate in the full SDLC, from requirement gathering through design, development, and implementation.
• Execute application delivery to approved Cloud Service Providers, ensuring proper deployment and scaling.
• Advise functional leaders using deep technical knowledge and professional acumen.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in .NET Core (v3+), C#, WebForms, MVC, and ADO.net.
• Strong database skills with SQL Server and Transact SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Experience deploying, scaling, and managing applications on OpenShift.
• Proficiency with containerization using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Mastery of Git workflows and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of cloud service models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
