Description

You will develop and maintain AS400 applications and own aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AS400 applications using CBLLE, COBOL/400, RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2/400.
• Design and implement database objects, including triggers, stored procedures, and optimized queries.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Perform unit testing and support integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support architecture decisions and optimize system performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AS400 development using COBOL/400, RPGLE (ILE), and CLLE.
• Strong knowledge of DB2/400, including triggers, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Understanding of integration concepts and version control systems.
• Experience in unit testing and application quality assurance processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and distributed teams.
