Description

Lead a team of 5-8 engineers to design, build, and deliver cloud-hosted and on-premises enterprise solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage team members through mentorship, performance reviews, and feedback to foster self-managing teams.
• Design new features using Java and open-source technologies aligned with the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX designers, and Infrastructure Engineers to ensure high-standard feature delivery.
• Drive Agile practices, define sprint backlogs, and make key engineering technology decisions.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle to guarantee releases meet established cycles and timelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• 7+ years in team leadership roles.
• Proven ability to deliver technical designs for enterprise applications using Java.
• Strong database development experience with MS SQL Server (SQL Server, RDS).
• Proficiency in web front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies including containers, microservices, and declarative APIs on AWS.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and OWASP.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Vue.js.
• Knowledge of search technologies like Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
