Description

Responsibilities

1. Develop custom software applications and system integrations that support MHVFCU's staff and members
2. Utilize vendor SDKs, vendor APIs, internally developed APIs, and internal source-code repositories
3. Design and develop common components, services, and frameworks for use across the development team
4. Participate in the full lifecycle of production applications, including development, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement
5. Work with cross-functional application teams to develop POCs and production solutions
6. Partner with Business Analysts to develop high-level product specifications
7. Evaluate system integration, technical feasibility, scalability, and long-term cost of ownership
8. Develop and maintain tooling used to efficiently deploy system updates
9. Create and execute plans to deliver working software iteratively and continuously
10. Participate in software architecture, architectural governance, standards, and design patterns
11. Help maintain an architecture capable of supporting both immediate and long-term business requirements
12. Collaborate with product owners, project management, engineering leadership, the Software Engineering Manager, and CIO
13. Contribute to product roadmaps for platforms supporting MHVFCU's delivery channels
14. Follow development best practices, methodologies, coding standards, and security standards

Core Technical Requirements

1. 2–5 years of software engineering/development experience
2. Strong C# / .NET Core development experience
3. Azure cloud services and architecture
4. Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
5. Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
6. Backend application and API architecture/development
7. Experience developing scalable applications and services
8. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or similar containerization/orchestration technologies
9. Modern JavaScript/TypeScript development
10. Front-end framework experience with Angular, React, Vue, Svelte, or similar
11. Experience building net-new platforms/applications, rather than solely supporting existing systems
12. Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, security, extensibility, and maintainability
13. Full-stack development experience
