Roles & Responsibilities:
- Define and deploy the Global Software Factory and Developer Platform for the entire Vehicle Motion business unit globally.
- Build core tooling, automate complex release pipelines, and coach developers on modern engineering methodologies.
- Standardize and roll out modern IDE experiences using Visual Studio Code with GitHub Copilot integration.
- Design and build continuous integration and continuous testing automation utilizing GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners.
- Engineer robust build and dependency structures using Conan, Make, and custom build scripts.
- Integrate advanced safety-critical testing frameworks including Cantata, ECU-TEST, and custom simulation frameworks.
- Develop and maintain scalable, reproducible platform infrastructure using Python, PowerShell, and Docker containers.
- Lead AI adoption by educating and coaching global development teams on modern engineering methodologies.
- Define and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and engineering best practices across the organization.
- Establish metrics and monitoring systems to track pipeline efficiency, build times, and developer productivity.
- Embed security scanning, compliance checks, and safety-critical standards into automated pipelines.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align Software Factory roadmap with organizational objectives.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and training materials for the Software Factory platform.
- Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies in the DevOps landscape.
Experience Required: 8+ years of hands-on software development and platform engineering experience with strong software architecture foundation.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
