Description

You will define and deploy the Global Software Factory and Developer Platform for the Vehicle Motion business unit, owning core tooling, release pipelines, and developer experience standardization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build continuous integration and testing automation using GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Engineer build and dependency structures using Conan, Make, and custom scripts, while maintaining scalable infrastructure with Python, PowerShell, and Docker.
• Standardize IDE experiences with Visual Studio Code and GitHub Copilot, and integrate safety-critical testing frameworks like Cantata and ECU-TEST.
• Establish metrics for pipeline efficiency, build times, and developer productivity, embedding security scanning and compliance checks into automated workflows.
• Coach global development teams on modern engineering methodologies, coding standards, and AI adoption.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on software development and platform engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in software architecture and design.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and Docker for infrastructure and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Conan and Make.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GitHub Copilot, DevContainers, and AI coding assistants.
• Background in automotive industry, safety-critical software development, or simulation frameworks (ECU-TEST, Cantata).
• Knowledge of platform governance, developer productivity metrics, and security/compliance frameworks.
