Description

You will manage and support containerized platforms, messaging systems, and database infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage applications within Red Hat OpenShift containerized environments.
• Install, configure, and support Apache Kafka clusters.
• Maintain open-source SQL databases including Presto DB and PostgreSQL.
• Troubleshoot database connections, manage backups, and develop basic queries.
• Consume APIs and write scripts to validate data for web-based applications.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift container platform.
• 3+ years of experience installing and supporting Apache Kafka.
• 4+ years of experience installing and configuring SQL databases like Presto DB or PostgreSQL.
• 2+ years of experience working with web-based applications and consuming APIs.
• Experience writing scripts to validate data.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with shell scripting and crontab.
