Description

You will design, develop, and maintain integrated backend systems and services for brokerage and financial platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance integration-centric backend services using Java, Golang, or Python.
• Design and implement REST APIs to enable communication between internal and external systems.
• Build and support asynchronous messaging systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Write and optimize SQL/NoSQL queries, stored procedures, and data flows across PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Analyze system performance across integrated components, debug integration issues, and propose improvements.

Required Skills

• 9–12 years of hands-on software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in FinTech, specifically in Capital Markets, Trade Lifecycle, Portfolio Management, or Payments.
• Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python focused on backend development.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices design.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and scripting for automation.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, and Jira.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AWS in the context of integrated architectures.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated integration testing.
