Description

Lead embedded software engineering for automotive cluster features, managing development from requirements through release using V-Cycle and Agile SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Develop cluster features including speedometer, fuel gauge, oil level indicators, and tell-tales.
• Manage power management modes, watchdog timers, and sleep modes across various MCUs.
• Implement state machine handling and embedded logic within RTOS environments.
• Execute software projects following V-Cycle and Agile SDLC methodologies.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of total experience with at least 5 years in automotive Tier 1 software engineering.
• Expertise in Embedded C and RTOS or FreeRTOS background.
• Hands-on development experience with 8/16/32-bit Microcontrollers (NXP, Renesas, Atmel, Infineon, or ARM architecture).
• Proficiency in managing MCU power management, watchdog, and sleep modes.
• Experience with compilers and debuggers including Trace32, Segger, J-Link, LPC-Link, Green Hills, GCC, or IAR.
• Strong knowledge of protocols: CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, USB, I2S, and LWIP.
• Proven experience in state machine handling.
