Description

Lead the Infra Tools AI team to build scalable infrastructure and AI-driven engineering tools for SONiC OS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of infrastructure and tooling engineers while setting technical direction.
• Architect and maintain scalable infrastructure for development, integration, and test environments supporting SONiC OS.
• Design and deliver LLM-based tools for intelligent regression analysis, including failure classification, root cause clustering, and test flakiness prediction.
• Reduce regression runtime through parallelization, smart test selection, and dependency-aware scheduling.
• Develop deep technical knowledge of SONiC internals, including subsystem architecture and SAI/ASIC abstraction.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong Python programming skills with experience building production-quality automation frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating CI/CD systems at scale (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or AI-assisted developer tooling in engineering workflows.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, including hiring, mentoring, and technical roadmapping.
• Experience developing software testing tools and test infrastructure.
• B.Sc. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Deep Linux expertise: system internals, networking stack, and process management.
• Experience with LLM-powered test analysis pipelines or AI-enhanced DevOps tooling.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (Ethernet, L2/L3, QoS) and high-performance data center networking.
