Description

You will manage the full software development lifecycle for the FlashBlade Networking product area, driving architecture, development, release, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Drive software development from initial architecture through release and maintenance.
• Perform requirements analysis and write technical specifications.
• Design, code, and debug systems using C and Python.
• Integrate new features with existing infrastructure through cross-team collaboration.
• Contribute to architectural evolution and document all software functionality.

Required Skills

• 4-7+ years of experience developing on Linux or other *NIX variants at a product company.
• Strong proficiency in C and Python.
• Proven experience with IPv4 and IPv6 networking protocols.
• Hands-on experience with API design and distributed systems.
• Deep domain knowledge of the networking stack.
• Experience with Linux Kernel or device drivers.
• Familiarity with modern switch silicon packet processing, including ECMP, QoS, and packet filtering.
• Strong algorithmic, coding, and debugging skills.
• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Storage industry experience.
