Description

You will own the design and architecture of complex storage systems and Linux kernel-level device drivers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Linux kernel drivers for storage subsystems.
• Debug and resolve complex kernel and driver issues in production.
• Drive code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.
• Optimize kernel performance and stability through patching.

Required Skills

• 8-15 years of experience in system software or kernel development.
• Strong hands-on C programming and Linux kernel expertise.
• Proven experience in device driver development for storage or system components.
• Deep debugging skills for kernel, driver, and low-level system issues.
• Experience with Linux distributions, patching, and distribution management.
• Familiarity with NAS and SAN technologies.
• Experience working in Agile or product development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in enterprise storage systems.
• Exposure to virtualization technologies.
