Description

You manage the lifecycle of software projects within a technical environment, specifically for medical devices and surgical robotics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead software projects for medical devices, focusing on surgical robotics.
• Apply software development methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
• Oversee the integration of control software with physical hardware systems.
• Ensure compliance with medical software regulatory requirements such as IEC 62304, ISO 14971, and FDA standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of project management experience in software development.
• 2-3 years of experience managing projects in medical device or robotics sectors.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Familiarity with surgical robotic platforms and surgical workflow integration.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards: IEC 62304, ISO 14971, and FDA regulations.
• Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA, MS Project, and Confluence.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
