Description

You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for backend services and applications within an Agile SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for features during the active sprint.
• Write, document, and execute test strategies, scenarios, and test plans to meet functional requirements.
• Partner with developers to design technical solutions for automation and ensure full application coverage.
• Manage the defect log, validate fixes, and certify software functionality for production releases.
• Perform exploratory testing and desk checks to identify unexpected behaviors and refine acceptance criteria.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software Quality Assurance using Agile SDLC.
• Hands-on experience writing automation tests in Java8, Spring Boot, JUnit5, Maven, Gradle, and Cucumber.
• Proven experience testing API services, web applications, and mobile applications.
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Ability to translate requirements into effective test cases and automation execution.
• Experience performing in-sprint automation for tickets developed within the same sprint.
• Strong capability in identifying risks and communicating them to developers and business analysts.
