Description

You will perform verification and validation of test devices and software applications within mobile and stationary environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute field and protocol tests based on 5G, LTE, and GSM technologies.
• Create, extend, and execute automated test plans to verify wireless mobile operation.
• Analyze logs, call failures, and call drops using logging tools to identify issues.
• Develop test cases and drive routes by analyzing carrier requirements and 3GPP specifications.
• Report and track defects within the test management system.

Required Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in Android testing and field/protocol testing.
• Deep knowledge of 5G, LTE, GSM, IMS/VoLTE, and TCP/IP.
• Strong understanding of 3GPP/3GPP2 standards and carrier requirements.
• Proficiency with QXDM, QCAT, QPST, Wireshark, Etherial, and ADB.
• Experience with Android/smartphone platforms, telephony, RIL, and Qualcomm/AP/MDM chipset architecture.
• Automation experience using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Ability to analyze Android logs, bug reports, and dumpState.
• Experience using JIRA and Test Central for project tracking.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, EE, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with E911 protocols.
