Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive API testing using Postman, covering RESTful endpoints and validation of HTTP status codes.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated API test suites in Postman using JavaScript-based test scripts.
• Execute and automate API tests using Postman Collection Runner and Newman CLI.
• Version and manage API automation assets using Git, following standard practices.
• Manage API defects end-to-end using Jira, providing detailed artifacts and logs.

Experience:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in software testing.
• Strong experience in API testing using Postman.
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript-based test scripting.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with Git-based version control systems.

Good to Have:

• Basic understanding of API performance testing concepts.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and pipeline-based test execution.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
