Description

Own manual and automated testing for smart camera products, ensuring quality through rigorous verification of requirements and technical solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design effective manual test plans to validate product quality.
• Identify, log, reproduce, and verify defects while collaborating with development teams on root cause analysis.
• Implement automated tests using scripting languages to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Document test cases and procedures clearly to support release validation and traceability.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases, integration issues, and design flaws.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycles.
• Practical knowledge of Linux environments, including basic networking and CLI tools.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and meet project timelines.
• Experience with manual test execution and defect lifecycle management.
