Description

Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for complex software systems, ensuring quality across web, mobile, API, and database layers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories and requirements to identify system-wide impacts and provide feedback to the agile team.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using a proprietary framework, modifying existing suites as needed.
• Execute manual and automated tests across all phases (Functional, Integration, Regression, Post-Release) and report detailed bug analyses.
• Create detailed test cases and strategies for web UI, mobile UI, API, and database verification.
• Collaborate in agile ceremonies to advocate for issue resolution and prioritize testing tasks.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proficiency in SQL, JSON, and XML for data validation and API testing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Test Manager or similar tools.
• Skilled in Functional, System, Performance, and Acceptance testing techniques.
• Ability to test APIs using Postman or Bruno.
• Experience with web and mobile testing across various devices, browsers, and operating systems (Windows and Linux).
• Ability to review software analytic data and logs to pinpoint defects.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including “Shift Left” and Test-Driven Development.
• Experience with system backup and restore software (e.g., Symantec Ghost).
