Description

Lead technical QA efforts for a suite of applications and services in a hands-on capacity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and strategies based on functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee the QA team while performing manual and automated black and grey box testing.
• Execute application, usability, functional, regression, and performance testing in client/server environments.
• Author and maintain automated test scripts and build frameworks for GUI and API/Webservices.
• Identify process gaps, implement solutions for continuous improvement, and communicate quality results to management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proficiency in Core Java and Selenium-based automation.
• Experience building automation frameworks for GUI and API/Webservices.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS, ASP, and client/server database-driven applications.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with test management tools including QTEST, JIRA, and Quality Center.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum.

Preferred Skills

• RDBMS and NoSQL skills with the ability to generate complex queries.
