Description

You will lead software testing disciplines and technical strategy for the NCCRIS project and the broader Enterprise Test Team.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate testing activities including Component Integration, System Integration, Regression, Performance, and Disaster Recovery testing.
• Lead the creation of scripts using programming languages supported by the Micro Focus Software Testing Suite to meet functional and performance requirements.
• Manage SQL query development to support business user data needs while adhering to security processes for data sensitivity.
• Coordinate quality control lifecycle activities, monitoring project scope and change control processes.
• Collaborate with IT management to develop testing plans and contribute to the strategic direction of the organizational unit.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and technical leadership.
• Proficiency in writing and managing SQL queries for data support.
• Experience with software testing disciplines and enterprise-level testing standards.
• Ability to direct and coordinate complex testing implementations and application support.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with IT management at all levels.
• Knowledge of Micro Focus Software Testing Suite or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience with project scope monitoring and change control processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience researching and implementing evolving software testing tools and technological trends.
• Ability to develop service-related dashboards and reports for IT management.
