Software Quality Assurance / Validation Engineer

You will own the end-to-end validation process for software delivery, from strategy definition to final reporting.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute validation test plans according to defined strategies and specifications.
• Define functional and non-functional tests, including security, performance, load, robustness, and UX.
• Identify, document, and track software defects while collaborating with developers to find root causes.
• Perform regression testing upon defect resolution and issue final SQA test reports.
• Report test metrics and status updates to project teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java or C#.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools including Selenium, JMeter, and SoapUI.
• Solid experience with SQL and scripting.
• Proficiency using JIRA and Confluence for defect and test case management.
• Experience with Jenkins and Mercurial.
• Knowledge of web technologies, application servers, and networking protocols.
• Fluent English and local language skills.

Preferred Skills

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level.
