Description

You will drive the development of a formal Quality Engineering framework and build automated test libraries for enterprise-class applications.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior developers and testers in test design strategies and participate in a community of practice.
• Lead the creation and design of software by providing guidance on testability, performance, and code robustness.
• Develop automated test libraries and implement in-sprint automation to ensure extensive code coverage through unit testing.
• Coordinate with developers to build backend tests, UI automation, unit tests, stress tests, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with dev teams throughout the SDLC and partner with DevOps to optimize releases.
• Work with business and development teams to apply BDD and TDD methodologies across multiple platforms.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in quality engineering, consulting, or testing.
• 2+ years of experience as an SDET, test automation engineer, or developer.
• 2+ years of experience with software development using Java and Spring Boot.
• 2+ years of experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Couchbase, or MongoDB.
• 2+ years of experience with containerization.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience with Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, and Cucumber.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience on an Agile (SCRUM) team.
• 2+ years of experience in the retail industry involving SDLC and integration technologies.
