Description

You plan, coordinate, and manage software builds, releases, and deployments across development, testing, and production environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end software release and deployment activities, ensuring smooth delivery and system stability.
• Maintain and optimize build and release pipelines using CI/CD tools to automate deployment processes.
• Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams for release planning, version tracking, and rollback procedures.
• Troubleshoot deployment and environment-related issues, supporting production deployments and post-release monitoring.
• Prepare release documentation, deployment notes, and change records while ensuring compliance with management processes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in release engineering, DevOps, or software deployment.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in version control systems, specifically Git.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix environments and deployment processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/DevOps methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Certification in DevOps or cloud technologies.
