Description

You will serve as a Software Security Engineer focusing on hardening systems and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and implement security controls.
• Document security architecture and control implementation details.
• Collaborate across technical and compliance teams to address security requirements.
• Implement and manage container security and cloud-native security practices.
• Maintain familiarity with Zero Trust principles and continuous monitoring activities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in cybersecurity engineering or security engineer roles.
• CISSP certification.
• Strong understanding of federal security frameworks and NBIS requirements.
• Proficiency in vulnerability scanning, monitoring, and remediation tools.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust principles and continuous monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• Experience with Cybersecurity Engineering practices.
