Description

Design and own the end-to-end revenue data platform on Databricks, driving the migration of legacy Alteryx and spreadsheet workflows into modern, governed data products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect the DR COE medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) using Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows.
• Migrate Alteryx workflows and manual processes into version-controlled, testable dbt models with CI/CD controls.
• Design ADF-based ingestion pipelines from ERP, billing, and CRM systems, orchestrating them via Databricks Workflows.
• Enforce SOX compliance and ITGC governance through Unity Catalog, ensuring row-level security, audit trails, and segregation of duties.
• Translate complex revenue logic (billing, deferred, reconciliation) into SQL-native models and certified semantic layers for Power BI and Tableau.

Required Skills

• 12+ years in data architecture or solution architecture, including 5+ years hands-on with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and pipeline development.
• Deep experience with dbt, including modeling patterns, testing, and CI/CD integration.
• Proven track record modernizing legacy tools (Alteryx, SSIS, Informatica) into modern data platforms.
• Experience with the Azure ecosystem, specifically Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure DevOps, and Entra ID.
• Ability to design SOX-compliant data platforms with robust access control and lineage tracking.
• Experience architecting data products for Revenue, Finance, or FP&A stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Domain expertise in Revenue Data Management, billing systems, and financial reporting.
• Databricks certifications (Data Engineer, Spark Developer, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with MLflow, AutoML, or basic ML-enabled analytics use cases.
