Software Solutions Architect

You will architect and maintain solutions within the Rhapsody environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve issues within Rhapsody.
• Debug code and implement enhancements.
• Maintain Rhapsody infrastructure, including patching and application restarts.
• Manage error and hold queues, reprocessing items as required.
• Produce latency and response reports, and generate monthly status reports.
• Handle Rhapsody version upgrades and associated testing.
• Communicate technical issues with end-users and external applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript programming.
• Strong command of SQL and XML.
• Experience with HL7 version 2.x messaging and HL7 FHIR.
• Familiarity with CDA standards and related document types.
• Knowledge of healthcare vocabularies (LONIC, SNOMED, RxNorm).
• Experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE) technology.
• Ability to implement solutions based on Implementation Guides.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using the latest Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x).
• Familiarity with custom message payload translation between formats (JSON, XML, HL7).
