Description

You will administer Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and manage integrations with Azure DevOps, IIS, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, SQL Server, Windows, Linux, and Oracle. You act as the escalation point for OCP and Azure DevOps processes, including build, release, management, and deployment. You coordinate application transitions to OCP, providing guidance and resolving technical issues to ensure adherence to standards. You integrate new technologies with Azure and OCP while incorporating DevSecOps methodologies. You troubleshoot application issues within the Red Hat OpenShift environment and monitor system performance anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Administer OCP projects and manage integrations with IIS, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, SQL Server, Windows, Linux, and Oracle.
• Act as escalation point for OCP and Azure DevOps processes, including build, release, management, and deployment.
• Coordinate application transitions to OCP, providing guidance and resolving technical issues to ensure adherence to standards.
• Integrate new technologies and tools with Azure and OCP while incorporating DevSecOps methodologies.
• Troubleshoot application issues within the Red Hat OpenShift environment and monitor system performance anomalies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift Version 4 and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Hands-on experience creating S2I images, StatefulSets, and converting Docker images to S2I.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and GIT for CI/CD implementation.
• Deep knowledge of Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) version 6.X or higher, including index curation and retention.
• Experience with Logstash pipeline configuration, Grok, and Elastic Beats (Filebeat, Heartbeat).
• Ability to create Docker files, images, and containers, and maintain Quay Image Repository.
• Experience debugging Java errors and working with Java-based applications.
• Proficiency in Linux scripting using .ksh, bash, Python, and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of SSL, TCP/IP Networking, and LDAP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 24/7 problem solving in complex environments involving disk, CPU, and network performance monitoring.
• Working knowledge of AWS.
• Experience with SonarQube, Coverity, Hasura, Redis, Apache Spark, and Azure Databricks.
