Description

Design and implement healthcare interoperability solutions using integration engines and clinical data standards.

Responsibilities

• Build custom message payload translations between JSON, XML, and HL7 formats.
• Develop custom filters and mappers using the Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK).
• Implement solutions based on established Implementation Guides.
• Configure secure transport mechanisms including TLS and mutual authorization via certificates.
• Manage data exchange using web services, SOAP, REST, and TCP connections.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software architecture or integration.
• Expertise with Orion Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x).
• Proficiency in Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK).
• Strong knowledge of HL7 version 2.x messaging and HL7 FHIR.
• Experience with CDA standards and related document types.
• Familiarity with healthcare vocabularies including LOINC, SNOMED, and RxNorm.
• Understanding of Health Information Exchange (HIE) and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) technology.
• Programming skills in Java or JavaScript.
• Proficiency in SQL and XML.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
