Description

You will own the stability, security, and performance of newly deployed systems, collaborating with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities

• Review deployment plans and validate configuration settings to identify post-deployment risks and ensure accurate system setup.
• Monitor system health and application logs using automated tools to analyze error rates, identify recurring issues, and verify dependencies like databases and third-party APIs.
• Act as the primary contact for system alerts, performing initial troubleshooting and escalating complex incidents while documenting root causes and resolutions.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate monitoring tasks, streamline operational workflows, and enhance alerting dashboards.
• Conduct security and compliance checks, manage change processes, and create standard operating procedures and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 6–8+ years of experience in software support, test engineering, or system operations, with a background as a Test Lead or Senior Support Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and operational tooling.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, system monitoring tools, and infrastructure dependencies.
• Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis in production environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, security compliance checks, and vulnerability identification.
• Familiarity with change management processes and ability to maintain accurate operational documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting production deployments in regulated or government environments.
• Proven track record in automated monitoring platforms and knowledge management practices.
