Description

You will lead the development of Basic Software (BSW) for power electronics controllers, owning the technical direction from requirements through release.

Responsibilities

• Lead BSW development for inverter and converter electronic controllers using AUTOSAR architecture.
• Define technical specifications, provide accurate estimates, and identify risks during requirements engineering.
• Design, code, and test software modules, ensuring full traceability from requirements to test cases.
• Coordinate agile iteration planning, lead stand-ups, and manage collaboration with multisite teams.
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and coach engineers to improve technical competency.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of total software engineering experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in automotive BSW development.
• 2+ years of experience as an AUTOSAR architect or BSW competency lead.
• Strong proficiency in C programming and embedded systems/microcontroller programming.
• Practical experience with Vector DaVinci for BSW configuration.
• Deep understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
• Experience with diagnostics (UDS), bootloaders, and MCAL implementation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-core OS design and SecOC implementation.
• Familiarity with OTA/FOTA solutions and tools like EBTresos or ETAS ISOLAR.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety and Automotive SPICE compliance.
