Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded software for power electronics production projects (inverter/converter electronic controllers) to meet functional safety (FuSa) requirements, with a focus on reusability across projects.
• Design, code, and test software following an Automotive SPICE-compliant development process and maintain end-to-end traceability from requirements to test cases.
• Interface with Systems engineering to ensure software requirements are understood, documented, and analyzed prior to software design and implementation.
• Support development and maintenance of project family common software architecture and ensure adherence to documented software design standards.
• Collaborate with multi-site teams using Agile methodology and coordinate across time zones to deliver functional safety software artifacts.

Skills Required:

• 6-9 years of relevant experience in functional safety and embedded software development.
• Functional Safety (FuSa) software development experience, including hands-on ownership of ASIL Level 3 software.
• Functional design and implementation of embedded safety features for power electronics controllers.
• Embedded software development in C with strong debugging and validation practices for safety-critical behavior.
• Automotive development process knowledge (Automotive SPICE) and ability to produce traceable, testable software deliverables.

Good to Have:

• AUTOSAR configuration and methodology experience, including IoHwAb and MCAL development using Vector toolchains (DaVinci/EB tresos).
• Hands-on experience with 32-bit Infineon TC3xx microcontrollers and configuration/usage of on-chip peripherals (e.g., ADC monitoring, SMU configs, QSPI monitoring, clock monitoring, watchdog, BIST).
• Experience with configuration and change management tools such as Plastic SCM, Bitbucket, Jira, and Polarion.

Education: B.E/B.Tech (or equivalent) in Electronics/ Communication/ Electrical/ Instrumentation or related engineering disciplines
