Description

You will define the roadmap and vision for software development, configuration, optimization, and productization activities to support hardware products.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the end-to-end value chain for customers, manufacturers, and designers, including support and quality assurance.
• Translate market segment needs into actionable product plans and prioritize features with internal engineering teams and software vendors.
• Perform competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of existing solutions.
• Engage with open-source communities and participate in customer meetings and training to evangelize software offerings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software requirement creation and management within a product delivery context.
• Proven background in software development, such as firmware, operating systems, or application development.
• Experience with software product development and delivery lifecycles.
• Ability to communicate strategic plans effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers.
• Experience in technical product management or software product development.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a globally distributed technology management team.
• Availability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the full open-source software development lifecycle and typical software stack components.
• Background in environments where hardware design and proof-of-concept software verification are required.
