Description

You will act as a tester and analyst for multiple software development projects in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute use cases, test plans, and testing scripts for custom .NET web applications.
• Design and execute both manual and automated test cases.
• Build environment-specific test suites for DEV, UAT, QAT, and PRE-PROD with integrated application lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases.
• Generate and document testing reports, metrics, and strategies.
• Identify, track, and manage defects and issues.
• Generate and acquire necessary test data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
• 5+ years of experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Client.
• 5+ years of experience writing SQL and P-SQL queries.
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including QA, UAT, System Integration, Accessibility, Performance, Regression, Post Deployment Validation, and Data Conversion.
• Understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC).
• Experience with issue tracking and defect management.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity, requiring onsite presence in Lansing, MI, two days per week.
