Description

You will perform manual quality assurance to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are free of defects.

Responsibilities

• Develop test cases and execute Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) according to project schedules.
• Manage the defect lifecycle by identifying issues, tracking remediation, and maintaining traceability to user stories.
• Facilitate defect triage meetings and work with Tech Leads and Developers to ensure clear defect understanding.
• Prepare test data and verify the readiness of QA environments and interfaces.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and UI/UX Designers to clarify requirements and evaluate usability.
• Conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) training sessions for testers and stakeholders.
• Provide analysis and data to support Go/No Go project decisions.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of manual testing experience.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Proficiency with MySQL and Javascript.
• Ability to analyze software applications to identify and document defects.
• Certification in Quality Assurance testing or 24 semester hours of IT coursework.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
