Description

You will design and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and document manual and automated test cases, test plans, and testing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into actionable test suites.
• Manage issue tracking, defect management, and the generation of testing reports and metrics.
• Build environment-specific test suites for DEV, UAT, QAT, and PRE-PROD with integrated application life cycle management.
• Perform API testing and manage test data acquisition.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing.
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with SQL and P-SQL querying.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Client.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies including UAT, System Integration, Accessibility, Performance, Regression, and Data Conversion.
• Understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC).
• Experience with ADA Compliance testing tools like AccVerify or JAWS.
• Ability to work in person in downtown Lansing 2 days a week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Provar, or Katalon.
• Experience using Azure DevOps Testing Module.
• Mobile application testing for iOS and Android.
