Description

You own the manual quality assurance process, ensuring software solutions meet business requirements and remain defect-free across Waterfall and Agile environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies and execute QA testing cycles aligned with project schedules and SDLC standards.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to clarify requirements and verify adherence to project objectives.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle, including identification, severity setting, remediation tracking, and traceability to user stories.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) training sessions and defect triage meetings with stakeholders.
• Prepare test data, ensure QA environment readiness, and provide analysis for Go/No-Go decisions.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on manual testing experience.
• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile project teams.
• Ability to analyze, identify, and document software defects and usability issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with Business Analysts, Tech Leads, and UI/UX Designers.
• Experience with defect management tools and maintaining test documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Quality Assurance testing.
• 24 semester hours in IT coursework or equivalent degree.
