Description

Architect test utilities, automation solutions, and frameworks within the Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of test automation frameworks, harnesses, and in-house tools.
• Conduct research to identify new tools, frameworks, and testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with Architects and Technical Leads to improve test strategy, infrastructure, and coverage.
• Optimize testing processes to increase QE function effectiveness and establish Performance Engineering solutions.
• Define failover and high-availability test scenarios in coordination with SRE and Cloud Engineering teams.

Required Skills

• Expert knowledge of Java and Python.
• Experience with BDD frameworks including Cucumber, JBehave, Karate, and Cypress.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Proficiency with GitHub and AI-based test code generation tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies including AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of virtualization, containerization, and mocking frameworks.
• Ability to work in a tool and programming language agnostic manner.
• Strong technical presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience defining cost-effective test environments.
