Description

You will test embedded software for heart patient monitor systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create functional test cases, formal verification plans, and traceability matrices.
• Set up device benches in the lab and report all testing activities.
• Develop functional test suites and comprehensive test documentation.
• Investigate software defects through troubleshooting and failure mode detection.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing.
• Experience testing embedded medical devices and Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• Proficiency in testing real-time, large-scale distributed client-server applications.
• Experience with TCP/IP, WLAN, DNS, and DHCP protocols.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and server/client environment setup.
• Understanding of the V-model, including requirements and functional analysis.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations and HL7/FHIR medical device interfacing.
• Experience with Active Directory.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Informatics, Clinical Engineering, or Computer Science.
