Description

You will own quality assurance for data-centric projects, focusing on ETL pipelines, data migration, and ingestion. You define testing strategies, build automation, and ensure data integrity across the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business requirements to determine necessary testing types, including data validation and regression.
• Create comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases that support delivered business and technological solutions.
• Manage the full Software Test Life Cycle, including Test Case and Defect Life Cycles.
• Develop and execute test automation using SQL, Python, and AWS services.
• Prepare essential test documentation such as Requirement Traceability, Test Strategy, and Test Evidence.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on Data Warehouse testing.
• Strong SQL skills for extensive back-end and ETL testing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, Glue, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in Python for developing automation.
• Deep knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as ALM, RTM, Test FLO, or Zephyr.
• Experience with manual and automation testing using Selenium.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using or knowledge of specific ETL tools.
• Exposure to creating automation frameworks specifically for data validation.
